Datic Currency is built to work with your business data, so we take how we handle it seriously. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect the details you give us directly: your name, email address, and a password if you sign up that way. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account.

When you use the product, we collect the business records you upload or connect, including exports from Tally, Zoho, Excel, WhatsApp, PDFs, or any other raw data you choose to share with us for reconciliation.

  • Account information: name, email, authentication method
  • Business data: the files and records you upload for analysis
  • Usage data: how you interact with the product, to help us improve it

How we use your information

We use your information to run and improve the product, and for nothing beyond that.

  • To create and manage your account
  • To read and reconcile the business data you connect, and surface the gaps it finds
  • To respond to you when you contact us or request a demo
  • To keep the product secure and prevent misuse

Your business data stays yours

Every business gets its own instance. Your records are never mixed with another company's data, and nothing the system tells you is ever drawn from outside your own uploads. We do not sell, rent or share your business data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How we store and protect data

Account and authentication data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Data in transit is encrypted, and access to your records is restricted to what the product needs to function.

No system is completely immune to risk, but we design with the assumption that business data is sensitive and treat it that way throughout.

Third party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run Datic Currency:

  • Supabase, for authentication and database storage
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with your Google account

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and security practices.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies required to keep you signed in and to keep the product working correctly. We do not use cookies for advertising.

Data retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can also close your account and request that your uploaded business records be removed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will let you know through the product or by email.
